A Bit About Me

My career path has been anything but traditional! After high school, I moved to London to work for Vertex, supporting Westminster City Council as a Customer Service Officer. Later, I completed my Honours in Economics at Rhodes University and joined my family business, working my way up to Marketing Director across South Africa and Zimbabwe. Along the way, I’ve worn many hats—from selling eco-friendly biodegradable products in Limpopo to assisting in setting up Airbnb/ Guest House systems, and, of course, navigating the yachting industry, progressing from Solo Stew to Chief Stew to Purser, setting up Purser systems with my Captain and partner for Ultra High Networth individuals.

I then took on the role of Community Manager for The Crew Coach, supporting yacht crew in their professional growth. Today, my focus is twofold:

✔ Helping crew transition ashore through structured guidance and strategic planning.
✔ Teaching the IAMI Certified Advanced Leadership Course with The Crew Coach, building leadership skills and confidence among yacht crew.

Leadership has always been a passion of mine, and transitioning out of yachting takes a huge amount of self-leadership—something I love helping others develop! The beauty of life beyond yachting is that you have options, and I’m here to help you explore them with confidence.

Having experienced both onboard and shore-based life, I know firsthand how overwhelming, exciting, and uncertain this transition can be. But despite the challenges, there are so many incredible opportunities waiting on land—and the key to unlocking them is clarity and strategic planning. Through my own journey, realisations and transition lessons I’ve developed processes to help crew gain direction, build confidence, and create a well-thought-out exit from the industry—one that’s intentional, meaningful, and not just a leap into the unknown.
